Nvidia RTX 50-series pushes AI to the forefront • TWO YEARS ON from the launch of the RTX 4090, Nvidia officially announced its Blackwell RTX 50-series GPUs, with availability starting January 30. Several of the models offer relatively incremental upgrades over the existing 40-series cards, but the top-end RTX 5090 will provide a big boost to gaming performance, and perhaps a bigger boost to AI workloads.
